Request a Letter of Reference

Some sororities on certain campuses may require a letter of reference or letter of recommendation for formal sorority recruitment. Personal references from people you know are best. We suggest starting with friends, friends’ parents, teachers, coaches, neighbors and faith/community leaders. Sometimes it is easy as asking them “Did you join a sorority, or do you know anyone who did?” Sorority alumnae are often excited when they meet a young woman who is considering sorority recruitment.

TCAPA understands that at times you may have difficulty getting in contact with a local member. If you have, we suggest filling out the form below, and we will connect you with alumnae members who may provide you a letter or reference or recommendation. Please note that we prefer a minimum of 4 weeks to find individuals who can/will write a reference. We do not promise references, but work to connect you to individuals who may interview you and consider writing a reference on your behalf.
